Your duties will involve:

- Fulfilling all training obligations including the Zaxby's Shift Leader development program, Food Safety Certification, and any other training specified by Zaxby's LLC
- Cultivating a high-performance environment and mentoring team members to adhere to all company standards
- Prioritizing guest and staff experience while addressing grievances in a convivial, respectful manner
- Establishing a positive work culture and maintaining crew spirit through recognition and leading by example
- Delegating tasks to colleagues, overseeing performance, upholding operational standards, and ensuring accordance with Zaxby's rules and regulations
- Maintaining a clean environment and providing guests with an enhanced experience by exceeding their expectations
- Managing food production, receiving and reconciling product deliveries, tracking food safety and quality, and ensuring guests receive accurate orders
- Planning shift tasks and guaranteeing completion of opening and closing duties
- Working in collaboration with the management team to set goals and provide feedback on goal progression
- Adhering to company cash management policies and maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations
- Using management tools and maintaining precise, up-to-date records

The ideal candidate should be:

- Aged 18 years or more
- Equipped with reliable means of transport
- Available to work 9 to 28 hours per week, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Able to pass a background check
- Capable of demonstrating leadership skills, organizational abilities, and cooperative interaction with others
- Experienced in leadership roles (preferred)
- Able to sit, stand, walk continuously, and occasionally stoop, bend, crouch, or climb, including ladder usage
- Capable of lifting, pushing, pulling up to 50 pounds
- Proficient in communication skills, both verbal and written
-Possess effective audio-visual discrimination and perception to observe and respond to the environment
- Able to work in an environment with varying temperatures and exposure to food allergens
- Experienced in operating and working safely with restaurant equipment including knives, fryers, and other potentially dangerous items.
