Duties and Responsibilities:

- Fulfill all training prerequisites, comprising the Zaxby's Shift Leader Development Plan, Food Safety Certification, and any other necessary training instructed by Zaxby's LLC
- Promote a high-performance culture while directing and aiding team members to meet all company standards
- Mentor and prepare team members, and communicate performance-related matters to the General Manager
- Establish and sustain a positive working culture and healthy team spirit by recognizing and leading by example
- Delegate task to team members and supervise performance during a shift
- Uphold operational standards while ensuring compliance with all Zaxby's Franchising LLC and Zax LLC policies and procedures
- Ensure simultaneous adherence to service quality, product standards, and cleanliness
- Improve guest experiences by guaranteeing team members exceed guest expectations
- Receive, reconcile and properly stock product deliveries, and conduct daily inventory counts
- Monitor food production and quality, and take necessary remedial measures when needed
- Plans shift chores and ensures completion of handover duties

Job Qualifications:

- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must have dependable transportation
- Able to work a minimum of 5 days and 32 to 40 hours per week with flexibility for days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Able to pass a background check
- Demonstrates leadership skills, strong organizational abilities and cooperative interaction with others
- Leadership experience preferred

Capability Requirements:

- Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods
- Occasional stooping, bending, crouching, or climbing, including ladder usage
- Capability to frequently lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 pounds, including overhead lifting
- Constant use of hands and wrists for grasping and fine maneuvering
- Proficient communication through speech, reading, and writing
- Maintain effective audio-visual discrimination and perception to observe and respond to the environment
- Ability to work in a temperature-variable environment with exposure to food allergens
- Proficiency in safely operating and working with restaurant equipment, including knives, fryers, and other potentially risky materials.
