This is a Full-Time position at our Warren location

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Diagnostic Radiology Technologist to assist in providing patient care second to none! This position provides technical radiographic services for a variety of technical procedures that require application of prescribed ionizing radiation techniques. The Radiology Technician will explain procedures to patients, establish rapport with patients, position the patient for optimal imaging, and educate patients and staff members on best practices and techniques for optimal and safe results.

Duties:
  • Safely operates radiographic, mobile, and C-arm equipment to produce radiographs of designated portions of the body according to department standards.
  • Prevents unnecessary radiation exposure to both themselves, the patient and other staff members.
  • Maintains a safe and clean working environment.
  • Correctly positions the patient while adjusting the imaging equipment to the specified position.
  • Follows instruction from the acting Physician regarding which area of the patient's body requires imaging.
  • Circumstances may arise where operation of the C-arm & O-arm is needed
  • Responsible for Joint Commission readiness within department
  • Performs other duties as needed.
Qualifications:
  • Current BLS certification
  • ARRT certification is preferred
  • Ability to relate and work effectively with others.
