Position Overview:

As a key member of our Product team at ParkHub, you will embark on a creative journey to shape our new products. Your role will involve brainstorming, sketching, and crafting wireframes in close collaboration with cross-functional teams. You'll guide the evolution of our designs through iterative processes, ensuring they are refined and ready for development. Your innovative ideas will be showcased in various settings, from team meetings to company-wide presentations. Additionally, you will work closely with the Product, Development, Customer Service, and Leadership teams to implement design enhancements, striving to deliver a seamless and exceptional user experience.

Position Responsibilities:

• Design Innovating Experiences: Conceptualize and craft intuitive, scalable, and engaging interactions and experience designs for multiple platforms (web and mobile).
• Communicate Design Concepts: Develop wireframes, storyboards, walkthroughs and prototypes to communicate your design to cross-functional teams.
• Own User Experience: Oversee end-to-end user experience - from the big picture (owning the overall user experience and consistency across an entire product) down to specifics of UI layout for a feature or service flow.
• Collaborate with StakeHolders: Work closely with product managers, developers, and other enterprise stakeholders to ensure design solutions meet technical and business requirements.
• Resolve Design Challenges: Facilitate discussions to resolve complex design issues that impact multiple departments or systems.
• Conduct User Research: Perform in-depth user research, including interviews, usability testing, and ethnographic studies, to deeply understand user needs, pain points, and behaviors. Synthesizes research findings to identify opportunities for design improvements.
• Optimize Design Process: Continuously evaluates and optimizes the design process, incorporating best practices and emerging trends to enhance the team's efficiency and the quality of the final products. Maintain alignment between designs in Figma and their implementation in live production environments.
• Maintain Design Documentation: Maintains comprehensive design documentation, including design systems, pattern libraries, and style guides, to ensure design consistency and facilitate knowledge sharing within the organization.

Desirable Skills and Experience:

• Must be based in the US, ideally in the DFW area
• 4+ years of UX Design experience working in an agile environment directly with Product Managers & Software Engineers.
• Deep analytical, prioritization and problem-solving skills with a knack for recognizing patterns and problems.
• Advanced knowledge of Figma, and prior use of design board software to craft user flows and journeys.
• Ability to create, manage, and merge design systems.
• Ability to work with multiple departments.
• Demonstrated passion for the ParkHub mission and core values.
• Exceptional interpersonal communication, relationship management and organizational skills.
• An entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to succeed in a fast-paced environment.
• A passion for visual design.
• A zeal for eliminating inefficiency and the creativity to find new, improved ways to do things when a process is broken.

Education and Certifications:

Bachelor's Degree preferred
