4 YRS exp req* We are looking for a NICU RN who has the experience to LEAD resuscitation in the absence of a provider, if necessary. Our provider is approximately 15 minutes out during the night shift.We care for Level ll NICU babies, no long-term vents or babies less than 32 weeks. We do not perform any surgeries other than circumcision. We have to be prepared to care for any level of gest that presents to L&D. We then transport those babies to a higher level of care after stabilization.Required Work Setting Experience: NICU III, NICU IVRequired Experience: Patient Types (Neonates 24-28 weeks), Dysrhythmia Interpretation/Management, Feedings, Placement/Management of oral/nasogastric/nasojejunal tubes, Iso Precautions, IV Therapy (Arterial line management, Central Line/Implanted Line Care, UAC, UVC), Meds (IV vasopressors, Surfactants, Steroids), Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome, Vent Management4 year of prior NICU RN experience requiredBLS, NRP requiredFirst time travelers acceptedEpic charting experience required
