We are looking for a NICU RN who has experience with attending deliveries along with RT staff who can lead a resuscitation in the absence of a provider, if necessary.
We care for Level ll NICU babies, no long-term vents or babies less than 32 weeks.
We do not perform any surgeries other than circumcision.
We have to be prepared to care for any level of gest that presents to L&D. We then transport those babies to a higher level of care after stabilization.
Job Requirements
Required Work Setting Experience: NICU III, NICU IV
Required Experience: Patient Types (Neonates 24-28 weeks), Dysrhythmia Interpretation/Management, Feedings, Placement/Management of oral/nasogastric/nasojejunal tubes, Iso Precautions, IV Therapy (Arterial line management, Central Line/Implanted Line Care, UAC, UVC), Meds (IV vasopressors, Surfactants, Steroids), Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome, Vent Management
1 year of prior NICU RN experience required
BLS, NRP required
First time travelers accepted
Epic charting experience required
