Regional Facilities Manager

The Regional Facilities Manager will lead a team of Facility Maintenance Tech professionals while reporting to the Director Facilities and is responsible for maintenance and building operations within their designated region. This role acts as the main point of contact for all day-to-day facilities activities and the principal objective is to ensure service delivery is to a quality standard, delivered in a consistent manner, and appropriate to business need.

Starting salary is $95K; commensurate with experience.

What You'll Do:

• Ensure locations and associated support facilities are managed and maintained to appropriate standards at all times and that necessary resources are applied efficiently and effectively for the continual support of business needs.
• Ensure in-house staff the service providers deliver excellent service levels, within the guidelines established and agreed with management.
• Liaise with all operational units and expert groups to confirm and ensure consistency in service delivery, customer satisfaction and cost control.
• Proactively set the standards of service, delivery, and cost control
• Deliver best-in-class services to ensure facilities services such as buildings, grounds, and operating equipment meet/exceed the company expectations.

Key-result areas:

1. Available to respond quickly to emergency situations 24hours a day, 7 days a week, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
2. Prepare, manage, implement systems and processes related to emergency situations including severe weather and natural disasters
3. Manage vendors to meet ongoing maintenance standards, quality, and costs to ensure delivery is as contracted and is appropriate.
4. Implement facility standards, techniques and tracking mechanisms across the portfolio of locations to ensure a consistently high standard of delivery.
5. Ensure appropriate and consistent reporting of the facilities pending items is established and implemented to deliver updates to internal and external partners on a timely basis.
6. Responsible for location inspections and location visits on an as needed basis
7. Other responsibilities may be assigned

What We're Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Prefer 5+ years in a similar or related role managing day-to-day facility operations, construction capital investment, and preventive/reactive maintenance program management.
• Experience using ServiceChannel preferred
• Excellent understanding of buildings and systems and the complex nature of their operation.
• Extensive knowledge of building construction, repair and maintenance.
• Financial and business acumen and a track record of managing large portfolios and or contracts
• Ability to implement and control facilities management programs and activities.
• Ability to work in and with a team to deliver high quality results, consistently.
• Understands facilities’ processes and what is required to support effectively.
• Operates effectively in a large complex organization.
