As a Class 3 driver, you'll play a vital role in safely, efficiently, and courteously providing waste removal services to our valued customers. We're seeking candidates with a friendly demeanor, physical capability, and a positive, team-oriented approach to join our supportive environment.

Requirements:

• Possess a valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) and/or Class 3 Driver's license with a clear abstract.
• Minimum of one (1) year commercial truck driving experience.
• Ability to demonstrate safe driving and equipment operation skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive commercial frontload or ancillary equipment along designated routes to mechanically collect solid waste and transport it to post-collection facilities.
• Open container enclosures or gates to access cans and position 3-4-yard cans on castors for dumping as needed.
• Perform daily pre- and post-trip inspections, completing and submitting vehicle condition reports.
• Courteously interact with customers and the general public, addressing questions or requests and notifying supervisors of any issues requiring management action.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety by cleaning loose trash off the truck and ground around the truck and container during the dumping process.
• Maneuver the truck into and out of minimum clearance spaces, utilizing mirrors for backing up.
• Utilize key maps and GPS to locate service addresses and follow safe operating practices, including lockout/tagout procedures.
• Monitor operations to detect loose debris, visually scanning customer sites before and after dumping.
• Demonstrate physical capability to lift/move various weights according to job requirements.
• Adhere to all safety standards, equipment checks, and precautions, ensuring compliance with federal, state/provincial, local, and company rules on safety and vehicle operation.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
