Corgan is actively recruiting an experienced, Architect with significant experience in construction administration. This position is to join the firm as part of our Multifamily practice in our Dallas office. We are currently beginning construction on several multifamily projects in the Dallas area and this role will focus on all coordination efforts related to the construction of these projects.


Responsibilities

Dynamic individual will be a team-oriented, highly-motivated individual working withleadership to ensure client satisfaction and the ability to function in a CA capacity. Primary responsibility will be to serve as the design team’s liaison for all questions or coordination items that arise in the field as part of our team. Secondary duties will involve the daily tracking and responses to all project-specific RFIs and Submittals during the length of the CA contract. This individual will attend all contractual scheduled meetings while on site and prepare weekly reports.

Responsibilities include:

  • Generating creative design solutions within the functional parameters of the project
  • Prepare and coordinate all project deliverables
  • Manage contract administration responsibilities
  • Coordinate with a variety of consultants
  • Internal Staff Coordination

Qualifications

Qualified candidates already exhibit these strengths and talents:

  • Professional, NAAB accredited degree in Architecture is required
  • 7+ years of experience in construction administration
  • CA experience in multifamily wood construction specifically Type 3 and type 5 construction required
  • Professional registration or anticipation of registration is preferred
  • Ability collaborate in a diverse project team environment
  • Display strengths in technical excellence
  • Strong and effective organizational and communication skills
  • Confident presentation ability
  • Revit or AutoCAD proficiency strongly preferred; experience with other 3D software is a plus.
  • Candidates should be efficient with coordinating project deliverables and client expectations
  • Experience preparing all stages of design documentation, performing construction administration, and consultant coordination are required
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Flexible attitude and ability to juggle multiple priorities is essential
