SUMMARY and PURPOSE OF POSITION: The Surgical Technologist and/or the Certified Surgical Technologist prepares the room and gathers supplies needed for surgical procedures; delivers instruments to the surgeon and other members of the surgical team intraoperatively; may function as second assistant to the surgeon; assists in the proper decontamination of the room, supplies and instruments postoperatively.

Candidates must have strong scrub experience. This is a 35 suite, multi service line OR, consisting of patients with complex acuity. EMR is EPIC.
Job Requirements
2 years of experience as a surgical tech.
Large Hospital experience (Level I or Level II Trauma Center experience preferred).
BLS (AHA) certification.
Graduated from an accredited (CAAHEP) surgical technologist school or equivalent military training or 10+ years’ experience as a Surgery Technician.
High school diploma or GED.
Previous travel experience needed.
Large Hospital and higher acuity (Level I or II) experience needed.
Strong Ortho (scrub totals, sports med, and ortho trauma) and Mako Robotics experience.
General and Robotics experience experience a plus.
