    Job Details
  • Traveler's permanent address must be greater than 100 miles from the most central facility OhioHealth Grant, 111 S Grant Ave, Columbus, Ohio 43215 to be eligible to apply.
  • Certified or non-certified surgical tech.
  • Strong Ortho experience with General/Robotics experience preferred.
  • Shift: 4x10's (1100-2130); every other holiday.
  • Call will be discussed with Manager (usually 1 day per week and 1 weekend per month).
  • SUMMARY and PURPOSE OF POSITION: The Surgical Technologist and/or the Certified Surgical Technologist prepares the room and gathers supplies needed for surgical procedures; delivers instruments to the surgeon and other members of the surgical team intraoperatively; may function as second assistant to the surgeon; assists in the proper decontamination of the room, supplies and instruments postoperatively.
  • Riverside Methodist Hospital is the perfect destination for candidates who love fast paced, invigorating environments. Level II trauma, Magnet Hospital, Comprehensive Certified Stroke Center. Candidates must have strong scrub experience. This is a 35 suite, multi service line OR, consisting of patients with complex acuity. EMR is EPIC.
    Job Requirements
  • 2 years of experience as a surgical tech.
  • Large Hospital experience (Level I or Level II Trauma Center experience preferred).
  • BLS (AHA) certification.
  • Graduated from an accredited (CAAHEP) surgical technologist school or equivalent military training or 10+ years’ experience as a Surgery Technician.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Previous travel experience needed.
  • Large Hospital and higher acuity (Level I or II) experience needed.
  • Strong Ortho (scrub totals, sports med, and ortho trauma) and Mako Robotics experience.
  • General and Robotics experience experience a plus.
    Schedule Information
  • Shift: 4x10's (1100-2130); every other holiday.
  • Call will be discussed with Manager (usually 1 day per week and 1 weekend per month).

  • This is a 35 suite, multi service line OR, consisting of patients with complex acuity.
    Additional Details
  • Traveler must complete and sign I-9 and E-Verify Attestation Form is required.
  • Candidates must submit fingerprints on the 1st day of orientation.
