Unit Description: First to float, every other weekend, no call, holidays based on need, 1:5-6 nurse patient ratio
Acute care interventional telemetry medical surgical unit, 32 private beds, acuity ranges from moderate to high (frequent neuro checks), navy blue scrubs
Patient population includes acute ischemic and hemorrhagic stroke, encephalopathy, brain mass, hemicraniectomy, other neurological/neurosurgical diagnoses
No ventilated patients
Heparin, argatroban, cardizem, amiodarone, insulin, ketamine drips are common
Job Requirements
1.5 years of SD or CC experience
Large hospital experience
BLS

Night Shift, 3x12's, 7 PM - 7:30 AM, EOW, EOH
