Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and adaptable Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as a Floating Nurse. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care by floating within units of equivalent or lower level of acuity as determined by the manager. The ideal candidate will have a flexible schedule and be able to work weekends and holidays as needed.
Schedule: nights rotating weekends. 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
Responsibilities:
• Float within units of equivalent or lower level of acuity as directed by the manager.
• Provide direct patient care including IV starts, monitoring, administering medications, conducting patient education, and performing other general nursing duties.
• Work collaboratively with healthcare team members to ensure the highest quality of patient care.
• Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in the EPIC system.
Requirements:
• Minimum of 2 year of nursing experience in a clinical setting.
• Active BCLS and IV certification.
• Proficiency in IV starts and general nursing skills such as monitoring, labs, medication administration, and patient education.
• Experience with EPIC electronic medical records system.
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred.
Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30)
Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined. Posted job title: Registered Nurse/MS/Tele
