DUTIES:
Our Long-Term Acute Care RNs (LTAC RNs) deliver quality care during the crucial stages of patient analysis, intervention, and evaluation. These RNs work cooperatively with all factions of the patient's healthcare team to develop a care strategy that guarantees optimal results and consistent care. The various tasks that fall within the LTAC RNs' scope of work include, but are not restricted to:
- Safeguarding and administering medications, chest tubes, ventilators, wound vacs, critical care IV Drips, feeding tubes, and central lines
- Constant monitoring, implementation and assessment of patient status
- Guiding and supervising the overall performance of clinical auxiliary staff.
