About the Role:

The Sr. Facilities Maintenance Mechanic will oversee the maintenance, operation, and safety of all facility systems and infrastructure. This includes managing repairs, ensuring safety compliance, coordinating with vendors, and implementing preventative maintenance programs. You will address daily operational issues, assist with space planning, and support projects aimed at enhancing facility efficiency. Strong organizational skills, technical expertise, and multitasking abilities are key to success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in deploying the maintenance team to meet daily demands in support of Value Streams.
  • Execute routine and preventive maintenance for HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and structural systems.
  • Manage relationships with contractors and service providers to ensure quality work.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, conduct inspections, and implement safety protocols.
  • Respond to emergency situations like equipment failures, developing plans to minimize downtime.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.
  • Address facility-related concerns from staff or tenants with timely and effective solutions.

Required Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Two-year degree, Technical Certificate, or 3-5 years of related experience preferred.
  • Leadership training.
