Skills required: Must be proficient in dysrhythmia interpretation / management, IV antibiotics, vasopressors for codes, insulin, titration, cardiac (understanding As and Bs), manage central lines, draw blood cultures, ventilator management, CPAP, peripheral IV start
Experience Required/Preferred: patient ratio 1:3, Charge Nurse, Cerner
Patients are babies born at or after 32 weeks who need a higher level of care, but not so high they need to be admitted to a NICU
Previous charge experience preferred
2yrs experience required
Must have one prior travel assignment with solid NICU experience
Scrubs provided
Call Required: weekend and holiday rotation as needed
Required to float within units of equivalent or lower level of acuity.
