Cleveland Clinic’s G50/G51 Medical Intensive Care Units (MICU) are designed to treat high acuity patients who need critical care and are suffering from various medical problems. Some of the most common procedures performed by nursing staff include bronchoscopy, endoscopy, emergent intubations, and central line placements. This team is focused on providing detailed patient assessments, patient safety, patient and family education, and carefully and thoroughly planned, coordinated care. As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will be responsible for providing direct nursing care, implementing and monitoring patient care plans, administering medication and treatments, assessing and coordinating patients’ discharge plans and monitoring, recording and communicating patients’ condition.
