  • Find appropriate suppliers for sub-components and secondary operations and purchase as required. Manage and issue Purchase Orders for Production and Sub-Contracting
  • Purchase steel and other raw materials as required to meet operational due dates while managing working capital turns.
  • Ensure delivery of materials meet customer schedules and expedite product as required.
  • Cycle Counting / Inventory Management
  • Works with Team Members to ensure inventory accuracy of company and customer supplied materials
  • Ensure supplier and delivery commitments are met through continuous follow up regarding order status, vendor performance, and resolve problems regarding quality and supply as required
  • Continually evaluates the planning and materials control process, methodologies and system tools to drive process improvements
  • Communicate well through all levels of organization, suppliers and customers
  • Use and update ERP system, generate reports, verify inventory of purchased items.
  • Other Duties as Assigned

What You Should Bring to this Role:

  • 1-3 years of experience in a Supply Chain role, preferably in manufacturing environment
  • BS degree in Supply Chain, similar degree, or minimum 2-5 years experience in similar role
  • Proficiency with MS office, and ERP/MRP computer systems
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to effectively present information to executive management, customer, and vendors
  • Detail oriented
  • Time management skills – fixed deadlines on multiple projects
