Manager-In-Training (MIT) Program:

Our MIT program provides an opportunity to learn and grow within an established company. As our newest associate, you'll experience a tailored interactive program blending hands-on and computer-based training for approximately 16 weeks. The program aims to teach you aspects of managing your own account, including:

- General Training & Comprehension: Learn and perform assignments of the housekeeper, heavy housekeeper/floor tech, and laundry worker. You'll also be trained to operate a variety of industrial cleaning equipment.
- Leadership Development: Assist in training staff to meet policies and federal/state requirements.
- Policies & Procedures: Offer leadership to ensure quality standards, inventory, safety guidelines, and customer service expectations are met.
- Reporting: Keep records of income, expenditures, and supplies and deliver them in report format to HCSG and facility management.
- Training: Learn to be responsible for staff training, quality control, and facility tours to assess work quality.
- Leadership: Learn managerial duties such as payroll submission, staffing, purchasing, maintaining inventory, and budgeting.
- Communication: Convey all directives from client managers and administrators to HCSG staff.
- Safety: Adhere to safety precautions and ensure quality guidelines are met.

Qualifications:

- Demonstrate a positive attitude and ability to follow oral and written instructions.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic computer skills for record-keeping and reporting.
- Comply with COVID-19 vaccination policies as required by State, Local, and/or Customers.
- Ability to lift/carry a maximum of 50 pounds, and stand, sit, bend, walk for extended periods.
- Must be able to work continuously on routine, repetitive tasks.
- Ability to work around food and cleaning products.
- Must reside in the service area.
