The Team Leader, Government, Not-for-Profit, & Healthcare develops and manages nonprofit credits from $500M to $70MM in global exposure. In this role, you will evaluate non-profit banking loan requests with revenues typically between $5M to $1B using a thorough knowledge of loan policy, guidelines and procedures.

What You’ll Do

  • Achieve new business by identifying and maintaining quality revenue generating sales opportunities

  • Gather credit application information concerning business needs, desires, abilities, and earnings to determine loan needs

  • Explain loan options, rates, terms, and collateral requirements

  • Coach and lead a team to develop a high-quality, long-term prospect portfolio

  • Develop and maintain a referral network, with internal and external COI’s for new business opportunities

  • Take ownership of overall credit quality of loans generated and reviewed within the team

  • Effectively manage timely resolution of exceptions, renewals, reviews, and the credit process while adhering to all policies and guidelines and maintaining risk rating accuracy

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, Accounting, or related field

  • 10+ years of Commercial Banking experience, preferably within the Government, Non-Profit, Healthcare, and/or Education space

  • Exhibits exemplary communication skills (both verbal and written) and executive presence

  • Successful track record of driving new business growth and developing well rounded client relationships

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to understand and interpret the principles of accounting, credit, and finance

  • Comprehensive knowledge of federal and state regulations covering commercial banking activities

  • High ethical standards and personal integrity
