We are currently looking for a full-time – Senior Program Manager- ICJIA TTA Center

Starting at $70k – contingent upon experience, education, etc.


Summary: This position primarily provides leadership and oversight of performance and financial management, serving as the Senior Program Manager and Lead for the Illinois Criminal Justice Information Authority (ICJIA) Adult Redeploy Illinois (ARI) Training & Technical Assistance (TTA) Center. Coordinates with internal and external partners, federal, state, and local agencies, consultants, grantees, ICJIA staff, other ICJIA ARI TTA providers, trainers, SMEs, consultants, organizations, and the CHJ Executive Director regarding ICJIA ARI TTA Center activities. This position, when tasked, works alongside counterpart Directors, especially the Director of Research and Evaluation.


This position may be based in any Central or Southern Illinois TASC office


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Knowledge, proficiency, & successful experience working with ICJIA fiscal, operational, reporting, and audit processes related to a TTA Center as well as state grantees, including data entry and error checking for ICJIA Grant Management System, GAM and NCE submissions, budgeting protocols,
  • Paylocity, and RFP rebids as well as new bids. Understanding of state contract, quality assurance, fiscal reporting, TA reporting, and auditing procedures and processes.
  • Review and provide quality assurance of project documentation, narratives and budgets in state and TASC reporting systems, as well as others as required
  • Conduct business development through the sound application of excellence in TTA contract and grantee customer service for all ICJIA benchmarks and with grantees, and the building and maintaining of network relationships including with ICJIA ARI TTA partners, and ICJIA ARI leadership and programmatic staff.
  • Proficiency working with ARI courts and probation initiatives including the planning and implementation of these processes to include facilitation, Action Planning, implementation, operationalization, and TTA.
  • Proficiency & successful experience working cooperatively with courts, probation, treatment, recovery, lived-experience, researchers, evaluators, business, civic, and community (organizations and civic) related to ARI - courts and probation.
  • Perform consulting, training and technical assistance, both on- and offsite, as required
  • Coordinate and develop criminal justice curricula, trainings and presentations based on identified needs and ensure inclusion of relevant evidence-based practices, what works, or best practices
  • Engage external stakeholders including ICJIA ARI TTA partners and companion agencies and organizations (state, non-profit, etc.) to identify qualified consultants and trainers to respond to consulting and training grantee requests, and for presentations related to ARI courts and probation grantees.
  • Responsible for management of consulting and training contracts for consultants and sub-awardees, and for the preparation and management of proposals related to the TTA Center
  • Works collaboratively with consultants and trainers to ensure timely completion and delivery of quality consulting and training products
  • Promote and coordinate TTA Center involvement in consulting and training opportunities, such as conferences, panel presentations and workshops
  • Support for diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) in the performance of the essential duties and responsibilities. – (throughout all CHJ work)
  • Responsible for contributing to strategic planning and goal setting for CHJ as part of the CHJ leadership team and in line with TASC's overall strategic plan and goals.
Requirements:

Our Ideal candidate:

  • Master's degree from an accredited college/university preferred in criminal justice, human services or
  • related field and three year's minimum experience in the field of ARI - courts and probation,
  • Minimum of seven year's minimum work experience in related fields.
  • Ability to develop and deliver high quality workshops and trainings that represent CHJ in a professional
  • capacity.

The agency currently offers hybrid work schedules that combines in-office and remote work. Employees are required to report to the work site three days per week and the option to work up to two days remotely.
