In this position, you will be part of TASC's agency infrastructure, whose departments collectively assure the overall quality, fiscal responsibility, effectiveness, and impact of TASC's work, and work to advance our mission to build a healthier, safer, and more just society.


We are currently looking for full-time – Research & Evaluation Coordinator

Starting at $47k – contingent upon experience, education, etc.


Position Summary: This position develops and implements research and evaluation projects for program planning, implementation, determination of effectiveness, and performance improvements. This position also supports TASC's data collection system, helps maintain the accuracy and completeness of performance measurement data. Finally, this position helps coordinate TASC's internal quality assurance file review program.


ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Recommend and seek research priorities based on agency interest, funding opportunities, and the availability of an appropriate research team.
  • Help design and implement program evaluations for new programs.
  • Conduct statistical analyses of program outputs and outcomes.
  • Conduct trainings for staff on implementing evaluation programs.
  • Conduct client file audits (25 per month), generate reports, and analyze results for internal stakeholders.
  • Maintain program file reviews tools, keeping them up to date with all compliance requirements and areas of agency focus; conduct trainings on file review tools and processes with program staff.
  • Create and present a summary report at monthly Audit Subcommittee meetings.
  • Work with program staff on corrective actions.
  • Collect, analyzed, and make recommendations using data from multiple sources that identify key measures of agency impact and performance.
  • Analyze and summarize qualitative and quantitative data for other departments and organizational leaders.
  • Track key performance indicators; synthesize complex information into user-friendly reports, and present information to diverse audiences including funders, policymakers, academics, management, and staff.
  • Work with supervisor and other agency staff to design performance tracking and reporting tools.
  • Organize and analyze data; identify ways to improve data collection
Requirements:

Our Ideal candidate:

  • Master's degree from an accredited institution in criminology, psychology, public health, social work, sociology, or a related field required. Candidates with a Bachelor's degree plus appropriate clinical and/or research experience may also be considered.
  • One to three years' experience in clinical work and/or conducting and managing research and evaluation projects that incorporate qualitative and/or quantitative methodologies.
  • At least one ear of experience using statistical software, SPSS preferred.
  • Proficient with the design, cleaning, manipulation, and interpretation of large datasets.
  • Advanced knowledge of computers, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and the Internet.

The agency currently offers hybrid work schedules that combines in-office and remote work. Employees are required to report to the work site three days per week with the option to work up to two days remotely.
