Position Description:

The Operations Department is looking for a Data Analyst to join our team. The team member in this role will support the development of a comprehensive and scalable data reporting and visualization program to drive high performance across the Operations department. Reporting to the Manager of Operations Analytics, this team member will contribute to both the strategy (information gathering, data & gap analysis, alignment, vision, and planning) and execution (visual creation, reporting cadence, maintenance, and leadership understanding) of our data based on the business needs. This individual will also be responsible for crafting new processes, implementing reporting dashboards, and capturing cross-functional alignment on key metrics.

The Operations Data Analyst will have the opportunity to partner with leaders across multiple departments, gain exposure to pivotal business processes such as forecasting, board reporting, budgeting, and new product integration, and play a key role in the overall success of our Operations team and the broader Motus organization. This person should be analytical, organized, and confident in collaborating with people of all levels/departments across the organization.

Position Duties:

  • Contribute to the creation of comprehensive reports and dashboards to inform decision-making
  • Collaborate with cross-functional departments to address operational challenges and foster alignments
  • Assist with automation projects to streamline processes and deliver improved results
  • Measure the impact of business initiatives and quantify their effects
  • Engage proactively with leadership to promote standard processes in data utilization
  • Collaborate closely with the Operations Systems team to ensure alignment on system changes that affect our data
  • Document processes and evaluate the efficiency of process improvements
  • Build reporting to inform leaders on staffing and renewal recommendations

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • 2+ years of related professional experience
  • Experience synthesizing large data sets within Excel
  • Ability to interpret data and provide strategic analysis to management
  • Ability to communicate objectives, plans, status, and results clearly, focusing on critical key points
  • Excellent attention to detail, oral, written, and presentation skills
  • Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Must be able to anticipate, recognize, and work through issues or setbacks independently
  • Strategic thinker who can see the big picture, innovate, and adapt to constant change
  • Ability to prioritize and deliver timely results
  • Ability to work under pressure, highly adaptable and well-organized
  • Experience with Salesforce is preferred
  • Experience with Domo and/or other BI tools is preferred

Where required by law, Motus provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The pay range for this role is $65,000 - $80,000. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidates relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications. This position is eligible for company benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance with an employer contribution, flexible spending or health savings account, life and AD&D insurance, short-and long-term disability coverage, paid time off, employee assistance, participation in a 401k program with company match, and additional voluntary or legally required benefits.
