Since 1991, RLDatix has been delivering world class Strategic Workforce Planning solutions that keep vessels moving, help defence forces mobilise efficiently and maintain the safety of their personnel and compliance against local and international regulations.

The primary focus of the role is to drive the successful implementation of the RLDatix’s Workforce Management platform OneView within the Maritime, Defence, Cruise, Offshore Engineering sectors. Depending on the size of the project this may involve the management of multiple projects simultaneously.

The candidate will work with the client through all of the project lifecycles including but not limited to initial engagement, options appraisal, deployment and go live. The candidate would be expected to gain a working knowledge of the product to support customer adoption throughout the delivery of the project.

This role requires individuals to interact effectively with others, demonstrating the capability to build positive customer relationships throughout the project.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage assigned projects to ensure they are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.
  • Identify risks and issues, taking appropriate action and escalating as necessary.
  • Confirm that all the required contractual documents are signed and in place at the start of and throughout the project delivery.
  • Maintain project artefacts and ensure accurate record-keeping.
  • Manage client expectations with a focus on alignment with project goals and timelines.
  • Produce both verbal and written reports on activities at agreed intervals, and whenever substantive actions are required.
  • Support requirements analysis workshops, product training sessions, test planning workshops, solution outline workshops and go live delivery.
  • Be a liaison between the customer project team and the RLDatix project team.
  • Engage with customer stake holders across all departments involved in the implementation to ensure consistent delivery according to the agreed project plan.
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of internal processes and methodologies.
  • Ability to support and contribute to the building of business cases and plans.

Skills & Experience:

  • Strong commercial acumen with a demonstrated ability to understand the business impact of projects.
  • Working with different project methodologies including Agile and Waterfall.
  • Experience implementing Workforce Planning / Crew Management solutions.
  • Experience of implementing software systems both remotely and on customer sites.
  • Proven customer facing skills through previous project activities.
  • A full and demonstrable understanding and previous experience of managing project profitability.
  • Strong communication skills to facilitate clear, concise communication to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience presenting to both large groups and senior staff/executives.
  • Domain knowledge from one or more of the following: Maritime, Defence, Cruise, Offshore Engineering. (ideal but not essential)
