Qualifications:
Applicants must be a graduate of an AOTA recognized accredited university with a B.S., MA, or M.S. or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy.
Designation as an OTR by NBCOT (if state mandated)
Current license and/or registration as an Occupational Therapist in the state (as required).
Responsibilities:
Conduct a thorough occupational therapy evaluation based on MD orders.
Accurately and timely document findings on standardized evaluation forms, adhering to all guidelines.
Develop a comprehensive treatment plan that includes long-term and short-term goals, frequency, duration, and treatment modalities.
Ensure timely acquisition of MD orders for evaluations, treatments, recertifications, and discharges.
Provide comprehensive patient treatment using modalities and modify patient treatment as required while adhering to precautions.
