Hospital: Parkridge East Hospital Location: Address: 941 Spring Creek Road, Chattanooga, TN 37412 Unit Name: ICU Building: Cost Center: 650 General Information Unit Specifics: · Number of Beds : 9 · Patient Ratios : 2:1 and 3:1 · Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability) : All RN staff · Type of equipment : Ventilators, Alaris IV pumps, GE monitors · Documentation system: Meditech · Scheduling requirements: Self scheduling with manager oversight including 3-4 weekend shifts per schedule · Floating policy: All staff (including Travel RNs) are required to float as needed for critical staffing needs in Med-Surg or ED. · Patient Experience requirements: AIDET, BSSR (Bedside shift report), Press Ganey goals >75% Hospital Specifics- · Certifications: Chest Pain Center, Stroke Accredidation Hiring profile Requested Skill Set: Must have : ICU experience (>2 years), Teamwork skills, New Grad RN support Advanced skills needed: Ventilator, IV Drip titration, Arterial Line management Procedures performed on unit: Intubation, Central Line insertions, Art Line insertions Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Dress Code : (Required uniform) · Navy Blue Scrubs Unit Guidelines/Policies : Please attach unit specific policies and guidelines. · Awards/Recognition: Please include anything that you would like prospective candidates to be aware of, such as, links to videos that feature the department, outstanding department/team awards.. · Any additional information that would entice a worker to select your unit for their assignment: Consider items such as new equipment or technology, tenure and experience of staff, schedule options, etc. ·
