A hospital in Arizona is looking for experienced nurses for a travel contract for their MS/Tele float pool.
The right candidate will have 2+ years of current tele experience.
TRAVELERS MUST BE ABLE TO TITRATE DRIPS!!
There will be frequent floating to the sister facility, Mercy Gilbert.
Travelers are required to pass a dysrhythmia exam prior to starting (2 max attempts) and will take a pass/fail Sim lab on day 1 of orientation.
Job Requirements
2+ years of current tele experience
An active BLS, ACLS and AZ license or compact
Must be able to titrate cardiac drips
Schedule Information
Shifts: 12 hr shifts, 7-7.
Floating to different units mid-shift can happen.
Notification of campus and unit given 1.5 hrs prior to shift start.
Floor specific orientation: 2 days on the floor.
Unit Specific Information
Unit: CV Tele B3A, A3 Neuro, MedSurg C5, and others
Ratios range from 1:3-4 and 1:4 depending on the unit.
Floor specific orientation for each unit.
Common diagnosis include post cath lab, vascular procedures, day 2 CABG patients, general tele, neuro post-surgical, post-crani, spine, CVAs post TPA, general MedSurg patients requiring tele.

Additional Details
ACLS, BLS, NIHSS are required certifications.
Travelers will float between all Tele and MedSurg units.
Depending on skill level, nurses may float to ICU, Cardiac Tele, and other units.
Will float to different units mid-shift and possibly to another campus within a single shift.
