- ACLS, BLS, NIHSS required.
Job Details
- The right candidate will have 2+ years of current tele experience (including Neuro experience) and hold an active BLS, ACLS and AZ license or compact.
- Travelers could also float to sister facility, Mercy Gilbert, if needed.
- Common diagnosis / Types of patients: Neuro post surgical, post cranis, spine, CVAs post TPA.
- Travelers must pass a dysrhythmia exam upon offer with 2 max attempts.
- There is also a pass/fail Sim Lab on Day 1 of orientation (study guides will be provided with the first day instructions).
- COVID vaccine is required or declination form with appropriate documentation AND hospital approval.
Job Requirements
- 2+ years of current tele experience.
- Experience with Neurology patients.
- Current BLS, ACLS certifications.
- Active AZ license or compact.
- Ability to pass a dysrhythmia exam with a maximum of 2 attempts.
- Required to pass a pass/fail Sim Lab on Day 1 of orientation.
- COVID vaccine or approved declination form.
Schedule Information
- 12 hr shifts. 7-7.
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend.
- Floor specific orientation: 2 days on the floor.
Additional Details
- Minimum 2 years of experience - must be recent, within the past 6 months.
- COVID vaccine required, or religious or medical declination form (with appropriate documentation).
- Pass/Fail exam on day 1 of orientation, with an emphasis on sterile field.
- Study materials will be provided with first day instructions.
- EOW; first to float, could float to sister facility, Mercy Gilbert.
