Current nursing licensure in Arizona or in a compact state.

THIS POSITION REQUIRES A FULL 3 YEARS OF ICU EXPERIENCE TO BE CONSIDERED.
The right candidate will have 3 full years of current ICU experience and hold an active BLS, ACLS, NIHSS and AZ license or compact license (TNCC is preferred).
Travelers could also float to the sister facility Mercy Gilbert, if needed.
Typically, every other weekend is required but might have to work 3 weekends a month if unit is busy and needs extra coverage.
Flexibility is a must.
Travelers must pass a dysrhythmia exam upon offer with 2 max attempts.
There is also a pass/fail Sim Lab on Day 1 of orientation (study guides will be provided with the first day instructions).
COVID vaccine is required or declination form with appropriate documentation AND hospital approval.
Job Requirements
ACLS, BLS, NIHSS certifications required.
3 full years of current ICU experience.
Active Arizona or compact nursing license.
Ability to pass a dysrhythmia exam within two attempts.
Completion of a pass/fail Sim Lab on Day 1 of orientation.
Schedule Information
Flexibility with weekend work is required.
Self-scheduling policy in place.
Manager may adjust shifts to balance unit needs.
Weekends may include every other weekend or up to 3 weekends in a month during busy times.
Unit Specific Information
SICU - Trauma Neuro Surgery unit specifications like nurse to patient ratios, types of patients, common diagnoses, and float requirements.
Medical ICU - Medical Cardiac + Overflow unit details.
Additional Details
