Responsibilities:

  • Conduct sales activities to generate new leads and acquire new customers.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to existing and potential clients.
  • Analyze clients' insurance needs and recommend appropriate coverage options.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to explain policy details, answer questions, and address concerns.
  • Market insurance products and services to individuals and businesses.
  • Administer sales processes, including completing applications, issuing policies, and collecting premiums.
  • Develop and maintain a portfolio of commercial insurance clients.
  • Sell a range of commercial insurance products, including workers' compensation, general liability, and industry-specific coverages.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, providing tailored insurance solutions and risk management advice.
  • Prospect for new business through networking, referrals, and cold calling.
  • Maintain strong relationships with insurance carriers and underwriters.
  • Ensure adherence to all industry regulations and company standards.

Requirements:

  • Active Property and Casualty Insurance License.
  • Proven experience in commercial insurance sales or related field.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport and establish trust.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
  • Ability to analyze clients' needs and tailor insurance solutions accordingly.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Familiarity with insurance market trends and products.
  • Experience in sales administration or retail sales is beneficial.
  • Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-driven and able to work independently.
  • Familiarity with commercial insurance management systems.

Compensation:

  • Base salary of $30,000 plus commissions during the validation period.
  • Competitive commission structure after the validation period.
