Baycrest has been rapidly growing over the past few years and are looking for skilled and enthusiastic individuals to join our team! The selected candidate would provide administrative assistance to the Project Manager, Site Supervisor and Project Team for all project related work. Responsibilities * Provide administrative assistance to Project Manager, Site Supervisor and Project Team for all project related work* Play a key role through all phases of our construction projects, from tender through construction and close-out* Proactively manage project processes and documents, such as project set up, bid packages, subcontract management, drawings, purchase orders, contracts, building permits, change order requests and pricing, RFIs, RFQs, close out etc.* Maintain project information and data in our computerized project management system, inventory database, calendar, files and records * Review shop drawings for scope and accuracy against schedules* Liaise and build relationships with clients, designers and sub-contractors* Conduct regular site visits, attend and participate in client and trade meetings* Assist in approvals for AP processing and client invoicing, budgets & estimates* Organize the project closeout documentation, including; warranties, drawings, manuals, permits etc.* Track and communicate regularly with key stakeholders regarding project status and schedule updates* Provide superior and upmost service to clients, suppliers and other stakeholders by responding professionally and with a sense of urgency* Manage and track all legislated health and safety documents from our sub-contractors Skills & Experience * Preferably certificate, diploma or degree in Construction Project Management* 5+ years related experience in the ICI Construction Industry* Capable of reading and understanding construction drawings and documents* Strong knowledge of construction processes through all phases – star-tup through construction and closeout* Proactively identify problems / issues and develop effective solutions* Proficient in Microsoft Office including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Project - Project management software (an asset)* Confidence and professionalism to communicate effectively with clients, designers, subcontractors and peers* Self- motivated with the ability to take initiative and work in a fast-paced environment, handling competing demands* Highly organized and detail oriented* Knowledge of COR Health & Safety Certification system an asset* Works well with others and the ability to work under minimal supervision* Ability to work under pressure* Must hold a valid driver’s licence and access to reliable transportation* A condition of employment for this position is proof of Covid-19 vaccination to access job sites Employment TypeFull-time How to Apply Our online application will give you the option to apply to this role as a complete person – not just a resume.
