No RN's required to titrate drips - Common titratable &/or set rate drips: None
Centralized monitoring is available, RN should be able to read strips
Charge Nurse/House Supervisor: Yes, and the charge nurse may take an assignment
Nurse Aides on unit/Ratios: Yes, 1:15
RT/Equipment: cpap
Job Requirements
RN must pass the Basic Dysrhythmia (83%) before signing the contract (three attempts allowed)
Required Certifications: BLS and NIHSS
Experience or 'Must have' skills: telemetry, trach, peg care, foley, central line, med administration, assessments, nursing care plan, patient teaching, O2 management, IV, NGT
Meditech experience preferred
Oncology experience is not required, but is helpful
Schedule Information
Self-scheduling available with block scheduling allowed
Weekend Requirements: 8-9 per 6 weeks schedule
Holiday Requirements: 2 major, 1 minor

Shifts: 12hr Days, EOW (Every Other Weekend), First to Float
