Key Duties and Responsibilities:

The following activities are part of this role, and you may be expected to perform these indoors or outdoors: 

- Complete thorough training, including Zaxby's Front of House Development Plan and hands-on station training
- Provide warm, engaging service to all patrons 
- Promptly acknowledge guests upon arrival and departure
- Stay informed about ongoing promotions
- Thoroughly explain menu items, answer customer queries, and suggest additional items 
- Chip in to represent the Zaxby's brand energetically 
- Ensure accuracy in orders and transactions 
- Operate cash registers, handle cash payments effectively, and maintain proper records
- Foster a clean, healthy, and inviting environment by managing overall hygiene, including cleaning guest areas, equipment, and the exteriors
- Attend to equipment upkeep and inform management about maintenance needs
- Efficiently stock paper goods, condiments, service ware and beverages 
- Maintain clean and organized work areas
- Prepare menu items in alignment with company standards and sanitary regulations
- Skillfully manage food and beverages as per the safety guidelines and regulations 
- Assist in kitchen and back-of-house tasks as assigned
- Work safely, adhering to all safety procedures and guidelines
- Handle any other duties assigned to you 

Qualifications:

Candidates need to fulfil the following requirements:

- At least 16 years old
- Able to work 9 to 28 hours per week

Capability Requirements:

Candidates need to exhibit the following capabilities to carry out this role effectively. Reasonable adjustments that do not put undue stress on the company will be contemplated. 

- Ability to sit, stand, and walk continuously
- Ability to occasionally stoop, bend, crouch or climb, including ladders
- Ability to frequently lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 pounds, including lifting overhead
- Continuous use of hands and wrists for grasping and fine manipulation
- Efficient communication skills – oral, written, and reading
- Maintain effective visual and auditory perception and judgment to respond appropriately to the environment
- Work both indoors and outdoors, under hot and cold temperatures, and exposure to food and outdoor allergens
- Operate and work safely with restaurant equipment, including potentially hazardous ones.
