Duties and Responsibilities:

The incumbent is expected to perform the following duties which may occur inside or outside the restaurant:

- Completion of all training requirements such as Zaxby's Front of House Development Plan, hands-on stations training, and any other training required by Zax LLC.
- Provide all guests with a friendly and enthusiastic service
- Promptly greet guests as they enter and express gratitude as they leave
- Stay updated about current promotions
- Explain menu items, answer queries, and suggest additional items
- Represent the Zaxby's brand enthusiastically
- Ensure precise order and transaction completion for guests
- Correctly enter orders into the point-of-sale system
- Handle cash payments, count and verify tills, and properly record totals
- Maintain a clean, safe, and inviting environment
- Clean and maintain guest areas including dining room, counters, bathrooms, and building exteriors
- Handle equipment maintenance and report any maintenance needs to management
- Stock paper goods, condiments, service ware, and beverages
- Keep work areas neat and organized
- Prepare menu items according to company standards and in a safe and sanitary manner
- Prepare beverages, sauces, produce, etc., and ensure they're handled per safety regulations and guidelines
- Accurately complete, package, and present guest orders
- Assist with kitchen and back-of-house tasks as assigned

Other responsibilities include:

- Complete all tasks in a timely manner with a sense of urgency
- Work safely and adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures
- Handle other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

To be considered for this position, applicants must be:

- 16 years of age or older
- Able to work 32 to 40 hours per week

- Ability to sit, stand, and walk frequently
- Occasionally stoop, bend, crouch, or climb, including the use of ladders
- Frequently lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 pounds, including lifting overhead
- Continuous use of hands and wrists for grasping and fine manipulation
- Effective communication skills
- Maintain efficient audio-visual perception and judgment to observe and respond to the environment
- Work in an indoor or outdoor environment that features temperature variations and exposure to food and outdoor allergens
- Operate and work safely with restaurant equipment including, but not limited to, knives, fryers, and potentially hazardous equipment.
