Senior Software Developer (SaaS) (Fully Remote)

Job Responsibilities

• Develop dynamic programming solutions and high level design for HdL proprietary software programs or modules within a high security development environment.
• Assess internal requests for additional features/enhancements to HdL proprietary software and explore options.
• Assist non-developer staff on the operation of systems, reports and calculations.
• Strives to live the corporate values in all activities.
• Normally reports to a lead, supervisor or manager and is able to work on tasks independently.
• Makes decisions independently using knowledge of advanced techniques and theories.
• Able to develop technical solutions to complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of multiple factors.
• Independently capable of completing a design specification and schedule for a project. Stays abreast of new technologies.

Skills and Qualifications

• Strong proficiency with web development technologies (MVC/JavaScript/jQuery/CSS Frameworks/)
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft technology stack (.NET, C#, MSSQL)
• Strong proficiency with security development best practices

Education and Experience

• BS degree in Computer Science or related discipline
• Minimum of 7 years experience developing and testing code on the Microsoft technology stack.
• Minimum of 5 years experience developing SASS applications

Compensation

The starting base salary for this fully remote position is expected to be between $45 to $70 per hour. Actual salary will be determined based on skills, experience (to the extent relevant) and other job-related factors, consistent with applicable law.
