Look no further! Mass General Brigham is currently seeking a dedicated RN to join our Radiation Oncology team at our prestigious facility in Boston, MA. Responsibilities: - Provide professional, competent, and compassionate nursing care to Radiation Oncology patients and their families - Assess patient vital signs and monitor for symptoms of radiation side effects - Administer medications, infusions, and provide patient and caregiver teaching - Manage the recovery of patients post-radiation treatment, especially when anesthesia is involved - Assist in mobilizing patients as needed, including transferring to exam chairs and accommodating patients during procedures - Collaborate with patients and their support systems to meet their individual needs and expectations - Ensure that care is safe, efficient, effective, and timely, while also considering the cultural, spiritual, and ethnic needs of each patient and their support system - Communicate effectively and coordinate patient care with physicians, advanced practice providers, radiation therapists, and medical assistants - Use clinical computer applications like Mosaiq and Epic to effectively manage and document patient information.
