Cognizant Technology Solutions is currently seeking a highly skilled : SAP S/4 HANA / PPQM Architect who will be catering to the North America customers and involves supporting proactive and reactive business opportunities such as managed services and transformation. The individual will be closely working with our onsite sales / delivery teams, and participate in solution discussions, and workshops.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
Role: SAP S/4 HANA / PPQM Architect

Role Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced Functional Architect with a focus on S/4 HANA PP and QM modules to join our team as a Manager - Projects. The ideal candidate will have 12 to 15 years of experience in SAP environments with a strong background in various S/4 HANA modules. This role involves overseeing project execution ensuring seamless integration and driving efficiency in production and quality management processes.
Role Responsibilities:
• Design & implement SAP PP/QM solutions for enhancements & minor projects
• Document & Test the same
• Work with client and Cognizant onsite and offshore teams
• Manage and run workshops with business, document, write functional designs, solution design, Local configuration setups
• Independently facilitate workshop to collect and map business requirements and processes.
• Proactively identify and propose business process and/or system enhancements.
• Expert on SAP Material Master, Production Order BOM, data conversion and data migration
• Experience in SAP Production Planning encompassing following skills :-
a. PP-Demand Management,
b. PP-Long Term Planning,
c. PP-Master data,
d. PP-Process Order execution,
e. PP Integration
• Configuration experience with SAP ECC Production Planning (PP) and Quality Management (QM) modules
• Experience in the following areas: planning, manufacturing, distribution, inventory management, sales.
• Demonstrated skills in leading the implementation and integration of shop floor systems with other systems, such as MES and LIMS
• Ability to write requirements definitions and design specifications clearly
• Developing functional specifications and testing enhancements for ECC.
• The ability to train users on ECC PP and QM (MRP, Long Term Planning, Demand Management, and MPS).
• Experience setting up master data in SAP ECC for production planning, including BOMs, routings, work centers, and production versions
Minimum Qualifications:
• SAP PP/QM implementation experience
• Work experience in Life Science / Pharma industry
• Good Communication skill
• Client stakeholder management experience
