Our diverse staff provides structural, geotechnical, civil, and building envelope engineering expertise for the investigation, rehabilitation, and design of new and existing structures and infrastructure. Our engineers work directly with facility owners, public agencies, contractors, and architects to develop solutions that address their unique challenges. We combine our multidisciplinary technical skills with the physical and environmental testing capabilities of our in-house Applied Science & Research Center to develop project teams that can tackle a wide variety of problems, and we collaborate with SGH professionals nationwide to bring our collective skills to bear on unique and challenging projects. We want someone passionate about structural engineering and problem solving.
SGH seeks a motivated and talented engineer to help grow our structural engineering practice with emphasis on repair and rehabilitation of existing structures, investigation and performance evaluation of existing and new structures, and design of new structures. Typical project work includes investigating deteriorated or underperforming structures, conducting structural evaluations for new and existing structures, preparing detailed calculations, developing drawings and specifications, executing construction administration, writing investigative reports, preparing client presentations, managing project budgets and schedules, assisting with mentoring and development of junior staff, and interacting with facility owners, public agencies, contractors, and architects.
