Responsibilities

JOB OVERVIEW:

This position will play a key role as a hands-on front-end architect in the MarTech, AdTech, and digital analytics space. The candidate will have the unique opportunity to serve as a solutions consultant, who will function as a front-end architecture subject matter expert (SME) and strategist, supporting digital marketing initiatives for a high-profile client in the automotive industry. This person must effectively work with clients, partners, and external vendors while designing and building solutions for analytics and media instrumentation to enable a data-driven customer experience. It is both a strategic and tactical role.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Serve the role of analytics architecture and implementation SME.
  • Provide technical consultation and support for clients and partners.
  • Build custom development code with the heavy use of JavaScript to integrate and deploy analytics solutions that enable strategic objectives for the digital experience, such as personalization at scale, data governance, and privacy standards.
  • Own and maintain custom analytics solutions (e.g. enterprise data layer, CMS integration, automated data monitoring, etc.) and its implications on reporting metrics and the collection process of both 1st party and 3rd party data.
  • Design, contribute, and support architecture solutions that enable and advance data collection processes, including strategies to identify anonymous visitors across domains and campaigns while remaining in compliance with privacy regulations.
  • Act as solutions expert for analytics implementation, integration, and configuration issues.
  • Understand various MarTech tools, including analytics platforms, and how they integrate into the existing analytics technology stack.
  • Build seamless integration of MarTech tools whenever possible for analytics delivery while strategically minimizing negative impact to site performance.
  • Optimize front-end architecture and custom code to ensure that media tags and other 3rd party integrations do not impact site page performance standards.
  • Partner with media agencies to effectively support programmatic ads, exchange networks, and other AdTech services.
  • Collaborate with team management to shape our clients’ technical capabilities in supporting their digital marketing strategy, measurement model, and expectations.
  • Perform advanced troubleshooting of technical issues as it relates to our tagging solution and analytics technology framework.
  • Evaluate and recommend new technologies and platforms for consideration to existing analytics technology stack.
  • Participate in scrum ceremonies and adhere to Agile practices for delivery.


Qualifications

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required in Computer Science or similar.
  • Minimum 10 years of front-end architecture and development experience.
  • Must have consulting or agency experience.
  • Extensive experience working with different products of the Adobe Experience Cloud.
  • Strong analytics platform implementation experience, preferably with Adobe Analytics and Google Analytics.
  • Highly proficient with pure JavaScript coding without jQuery.
  • General scripting (e.g. regular expressions, Nodejs, etc.) experience.
  • Ability to hand-code HTML/CSS
  • Required knowledge of advertising technologies and operations involving Customer Data Platforms (CDPs), Data Management Platforms (DMPs), Demand-Side Platforms (DSPs), Supply-Side Platforms (SSPs), Ad Exchanges & Real Time Bidding (RTB).
  • Familiarity with Google Ad Manager.
  • Good knowledge of consumer privacy and staying in compliance with data protection regulations.
  • Experience with Ensighten or other comparable tag management platform a plus.
  • Experience with offline/online data integration.
  • Experience working under an Agile/Scrum framework.
  • Excel at client relationship management as needed.
  • Motivated by learning and evaluating new analytics technologies and staying up-to-date with current trends and tools.
  • Can multi-task and quickly adapt to changing/conflicting priorities.
  • Critical thinker who can problem solve.
  • Excellent written/verbal communication.
  • Ability to work independently and is a motivated self-starter.
