Job Summary:We are seeking a person-centered, detail-oriented, and organized individual to join the Human Resources & Culture team at Community Resources for Justice as the Employee Experience Coordinator. In this newly created role, you will play a vital part in the overall employee experience, with a primary focus on onboarding, ensuring that new employees have a seamless and positive experience from the moment they accept their job offer. This position will be responsible for ensuring compliance of the onboarding process, supporting employees through their employment life cycle, and contributing to internal communications, and diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:Onboarding and RecruitmentManage the new employee orientation process, working closely with new hires to ensure all onboarding tasks are completed before their start dateWork closely with managers and directors across the organizationCoordinate and manage the employee Fingerprint Process to comply with state requirementsConduct post-new employee orientation activities, ensuring that all new hire paperwork is completed, filed electronically, and compliant with company policiesProvide continuous support to new hires throughout the onboarding process, addressing any questions or concerns they may haveAssist with the recruitment process, including screening resumes, conducting phone screens, and coordinating interviewsEmployee ExperienceHelp create an inclusive and person-centered onboarding experience that aligns with the company’s commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusionSupport the company’s DEI initiatives by assisting with related projects, communications, and eventsProvide direct support to employees throughout the employee lifecycleAssist in the development and distribution of internal communications to ensure consistent and clear messaging across the organizationCollaborate with other departments to support company-wide initiatives and communications effortsContribute to employee experience projects as assignedQualifications:Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in HR, onboarding, customer service, or a related fieldStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneouslyExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbalHigh level of discretion and confidentiality when handling sensitive informationProficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.Strong attention to detail and a commitment to ensuring accuracy in all aspects of work.Preferred Qualifications:Experience with DEI initiatives are a plus.Familiarity with employee records management and legal compliance requirements.Additional Information:This role requires a proactive individual who is passionate about creating a positive employee experience from the first point of contact through the employee life cycle. Community Strategies (CS) supports adults with developmental or intellectual disabilities through specialized services that include Day Programs, Shared Living arrangements with providers, as well as over forty community-based group homes. Social Justice Services (SJS), supports those leaving incarceration to make positive, sustainable life transitions through residential and non-residential programs. Behavioral Health (BH) has worked to break cycles of violence, crime, and incarceration by providing client-centered interventions and support services to empower and strengthen individuals, families, and communities. BH provides domestic violence treatment and education, community reentry services, mentoring programs, and intensive outpatient programs. The Crime and Justice Institute (CJI) is a non-profit organization working at the local, state, and national level to improve public safety and the delivery of justice. CJI provides technical assistance, research, and other services to improve outcomes in policing, the corrections system, pre-trial, re-entry, community supervision, and juvenile justice.
