Nurse Practitioners and / or Physician Assistants

We are actively looking for a professional Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to efficiently carry out medical assessments for US Veterans, a critical facet of the VA's disability benefits program.

In the capacity of a Disability Examiner, you'll be entrusted with the task of perusing medical histories online via a secure web-based portal, in addition to conducting thorough, face-to-face, realistic assessments of each Veteran. It is imperative to record all necessary examination outcomes mandated by the VA electronically, utilizing the same web portal. 

Important to clarify that Nurse Practitioner or the Physician Assistant DOES NOT have the authority to make determinations of disability; the United States Veterans Administration solely makes these decisions.

The emphasis of this role lies SOLELY on executing Disability Evaluations for the Veterans. There is NO obligation toward treatment provision or medication prescription within this scope of work. Typically, you'll be carrying out Disability Evaluations for about 3-5 veterans daily. This is primarily a full-time role with a fixed schedule of 8am - 4pm. This role DEMANDS in-person provision of services.

Essential Traits:

- A strong inclination for performing Independent Medical Evaluations.
- Ability to effectively interpret data from medical records and examination outcomes to fill out the questionnaire and formulate medical conclusions.
- Robust time management proficiencies, ability to stay on task and fulfil objectives.
- Unrestricted licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
- Proficiency in computer handling.

Prerequisites:

- An active, unrestricted NP or PA license from a NCCPA accredited institution is a compulsory requirement.
