Role Overview
Shop LC is seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Buyer to join our Lifestyle & Fashion division. In this role, you will lead product categories, execute merchandising strategies, and help shape the future of our apparel and accessories offerings. The ideal candidate will have a proven background in apparel sourcing, trend analysis, and vendor relations, with the ability to make strategic decisions that will drive sales and expand our product offerings. You will work closely with our global sourcing teams and travel frequently to key markets.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct trend research to identify fashion trends and translate them into market-ready apparel and accessories.
• Collaborate with internal teams on scheduling, retail mark-ups, merchandise flow, and on-time delivery.
• Source and manage relationships with domestic vendors, ensuring timely product availability during peak demand periods.
• Partner with the VGL sourcing team to develop new products under private label brands and explore opportunities for category expansion.
• Manage current apparel buying team of one merchandiser and one future merchandising assistant.
• Analyze sales data and trends to anticipate future product needs and adjust merchandising strategies accordingly.
• Maintain a competitive edge by sourcing products at better prices and managing the drop-ship program with domestic vendors.
• Demonstrate creativity and problem-solving skills to resolve issues during product development and launch phases.
• Support live broadcasts and be ready to present products on-air to drive sales.
• Travel frequently to international markets, including China and India, to support sourcing efforts.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 years of multi-unit buying experience required, particularly in fashion and lifestyle product categories.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Strong analytical skills and experience managing open-to-buy (OTB) budgets.
• Proven ability to build and maintain vendor relationships.
• Experience in merchandising strategies, forecasting, and inventory management.
• Positive, team-oriented attitude with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (valid passport required).
• Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
