Responsible for the operation and maintenance of the clinic, which includes inventory and requisition of medical supplies, medications, and equipment.Essential Duties and Responsibilities* Provides direct patient care, patient evaluations, and treatment in accordance with Professional Nursing Standards.* Provides preventative education programs to students, such as residence life programs and student organization programs.* Uses the health care team approach to provide triage of patients, physical assessments, and treatments, including the administration of medication and therapy as directed.* Operates and maintains the clinic, which includes maintaining inventory and requisition of medical supplies, medications, and equipment.* Maintains and operates the autoclave for sterilization of instruments/supplies.* Maintains and monitors patient records, assesses health care needs, and provides patient education.This document represents the major duties, responsibilities, and authorities of this job, and is not intended to be a complete list of all tasks and functions.
