Your Profile:
As a Tax Professional, you should:
- Have at least 2 years of paid experience in filing 30 or more federal and state individual 1040 tax returns using commercial tax preparation software.
- Possess an active, unrestricted credential: EA, CPA, or Practicing Attorney with robust tax preparation experience and comprehensive understanding of tax laws.
- Hold an active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN).
- Have a keen interest in assisting clients to understand tax-related complexities.
- Be committed to enhancing our brand through customer delight and empowerment in tax preparation.
- Possess excellent customer service skills, and an eagerness to interact with customers through video and audio tools in a professional, friendly manner.
Requirements:
You are required to:
- Have (or be willing to obtain) a sound hardwired internet connection that aligns with Intuit's Security criteria.
- Be available and willing to work a minimum of 20 hours per week.
Your Role:
In this capacity, your responsibilities would include:
- Assisting our customers in completing their taxes using Intuit TurboTax products.
- Providing tax advice.
- Delivering full-service tax return preparation.
- Handling tax calculations.
- Managing product/software inquiries.
Working as a virtual, customer-facing professional, you will use our state-of-the-art video communication software to interact with customers. Furthermore, you will document interactions to maintain accurate records.
