About the Opportunity:
· Job Title: Line Operator II
· Pay: $19/Hour
· Location: Anoka, MN
· Schedule: 1st Shift, Mon-Fri 7AM-3:30PM with optional O/T
Daily functions:
- Sets the machine up and runs the job until complete as indicated by the customer specifications.
- Inspect work to ensure components are in correct location and polarities are correct to meet customer requirements.
- Performs preventative maintenance on machine to allow for ultimate productivity of machine requirements.
- Responsible for running and monitoring the quality of multiple machines.
- Responsible for tracking time spent on specific jobs by recording time on a time sheet.
- Contributes to maintaining a safe work environment by following safety policies and procedures, reporting any safety concerns, and participating in any scheduled stretch break policy.
Desired qualifications:
- High School diploma or General Education degree (GED) preferred, or related work experience
- 1-3 years’ experience preferred.
- Some basic troubleshooting on surface mount machines, reading and understanding technical documents such as blueprints, bill of materials, workmanship standards, equipment procedures, and other related documents.
Physical requirements:
- Lifting 30lbs
- Sitting for long durations of time
- Ability to perform high manual dexterity and repetitive tasks while sitting or standing for up to 8 to 10 hours a day.
- Ability to lift, push and pull 10 to 30 pounds.
- Must have good eyesight, as well as the ability to adjust focus and differentiate between colors.
- Use hands and fingers to operate hand tools.
