The nurses in our Progressive Critical Care Unit care for some of the most medically delicate and surgically complex patients in our region.
Must be competent in the care of medical and surgical populations, ACLS, and advanced hemodynamics including pressor usage per our titration protocols.
Nurses with large scale adult PCU experience and community hospital ICU experience tend to do well in our area.
Average patient load is 3 high acuity patients.
Job Requirements
Must be competent in the care of medical and surgical populations
ACLS
Advanced hemodynamics including pressor usage per our titration protocols
Antihypertensive drips, sedative and narcan drips, thrombo-embolytics, a line, cvp, EVD, ortho traction, infection prevention protocols
HFNC, BiPap/Cpap, and oxypendent
