Celebrating our 51st year, Teal, Becker & Chiaramonte, CPAs, P.C. (TBC) is the largest CPA firm based in the Capital Region. Our internship program provides individualized tax, accounting and advisory training while incorporating the latest in accounting technology. We offer many different positions based on your education level and past experience with the ultimate goal to create a full-time position upon graduation for you!
What we are looking for in our interns:

• Energized Sophomores, Juniors, Seniors, and Graduate Program Accounting Students.
• Willing to work at least 16 hours a week. Schedules can be flexible to accommodate class schedules.
• Basic understanding of accounting and tax concepts.
• Future plans to obtain CPA license.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team setting.
• A willingness to consider pursuing a career based in the Capital Region upon graduation.

What interns have worked on in the past:

• Work On actual clients with other staff at all levels throughout the firm.
• Prepared business and personal income tax returns.
• Prepared financial statements.
• Worked on a team to complete audits in a variety of industries.
• Assisted with additional special projects due to tax law changes and other changes.

Pay Range:

• $19 - $23 / hr

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

• Progress towards an undergraduate and/or graduate degree in Accounting or a related field.
• Future plans to obtain CPA license.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team setting.
• Expertise in organization and time management; ability to adhere to time budgets.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.

This position is contingent on the satisfactory completion of a background check.
