Summary:
Our Collections Specialists contact borrowers and negotiate payment arrangements on their delinquent accounts.
Responsibilities may include:
Secure payment in full / establish reasonable repayment schedules by locating and contacting debtor accounts by telephone
Call and resolve accounts on a timely basis from start to finish, including a high output of daily calls (200+) in an effort to contact debtor accounts.
Show professionalism and courtesy while working with consumers
Comply with all state and federal guidelines including the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act ( FDCPA)
Demonstrate effective telephone and negotiation techniques
Responsible for hitting / exceeding individual and team goals
Work with customers in escalated and complex situations
Develop efficient work methods to accomplish collection budget quota
Consistently exercise a high degree of initiative and independence
Qualifications/Skills:
Strong attention to detail, goal oriented
Excellent Phone skills
Strong negotiation and problem solving skills
Solid grammar, computer and multi tasking skills.
Demonstrated timely and consistent job attendance history.
