Pull and pack items from the sales floor to fulfill E-commerce Orders in a timely manner
Operate the computer system to complete the pull of orders and print shipping labels
Ensure customer service when packing the orders (pack neatly, correctly, label information correctly and sign off on the completion, personally sign and include thank you cards with each order)
Maintain knowledge of the sales floor and departments
Maintain a clean and neat E-commerce work area
Order and maintain all E-commerce supplies (boxes, packing materials, tape, marketing materials)
Strong problem-solving skills demonstrating initiative to resolve issues and think ahead
Onboard and manage backup E-commerce Fulfillment Associates to cover packing and pulling during all open store hours
Work closely with Loss Prevention/Internal Inventory Specialists to identify and decrease inventory discrepancies and assist them with counts when needed.
Physical ability to lift up to 60 lbs. frequently, spend up to 100% of work time, other than breaks, standing and moving, climbing and kneeling on concrete or hard surfaces; use of forklifts, pallet jacks, ladders and rolling staircases. Consistent adherence to safety standards
Understanding of correct lifting and packaging techniques
WHAT IS IT LIKE TO BE AN E-COMMERCE ASSOCIATE AT NORTH 40?
As an E-Commerce Associate at North 40, you will be responsible for the accurate, timely, and safe movement of merchandise in fulfilling customers online orders. The ideal candidate will be a precise, detailed worker, who can work independently on many projects at once, while still ensuring accuracy remains at a premium. You are committed to doing a job well – and you demonstrate that by your willingness to learn, your reliability, your attention to detail, and your genuine interest in and support of your teammates.
WORK SCHEDULE FOR AN E-COMMERCE ASSOCIATE
This position requires the ability to work all scheduled shifts between the business hours of Mon-Sat 7 am to 7 pm, and Sunday 9 am to 5 pm. This shift can include working weekends and certain holidays and will require flexibility in scheduling based on business needs.
