In this full time Clinic position, the LPN provides direct patient care and acts as a liaison and advocate for clinic providers, patients, and the organization under the supervision of a registered nurse.
This clinic is located in Edmonds and offers free parking.

Care for the whole family
We provide care for the whole family, offering pediatric, adult, obstetrical and geriatric medicine. Primary care appointments are available five days a week and we offer urgent care (https://www.vmfh.org/our-services/urgent-walk-in-care.html) through our walk-in clinic six days a week (closed on Sunday)
The following duties are intended to be representative of the work performed by incumbents in this position and is not all-inclusive. Rooms patients including making a patient assessment; collects medical data; documents data for appropriate visit; and assists with the physical exam.
Triages patient situations over the telephone to determine the appropriate medical attention.
Administers medications based upon written orders from the physician.
Uses triage and decision making skills to schedule patients on the computer.
Provides patient education through maintaining well-stocked supplies and medical literature regarding various medical issues.
Assists in various medical procedures.

A current Washington State Practical Nursing License is required for this position.
CPR certification is required every two years
This position requires the ability to triage and assess patients; strong interpersonal skills; a basic knowledge of nursing; the ability to solve problems; excellent technical skills; physical stamina; time management skills; excellent communication skills.
Experience in an ambulatory care setting is preferred.
