We have a challenging opportunity for a Senior Project Manager.

Job Summary:The IT Project Manager is responsible for supporting the company’s key strategic technology initiatives and processes. The IT Project Manager plans, schedules, coordinates, organizes and leads all process management aspects of the technology solution. In this position, you will manage and support multiple large process projects and/or programs from initiation through closure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support business process improvement efforts across the organization

  • Serve as a liaison between business units and IT for business process improvement projects to help establish business requirements and functional specifications

  • Direct the efforts of cross-functional process improvement teams by facilitating workshops to design selected business functions; validate information about current processes; determine corporate needs and core processes; direct team activities; provide ongoing focus to team goals; shape value-supported recommendations; Work with implementation/project teams to ensure the business requirements are fully and accurately interpreted during the implementation phase

  • Identify business processes across the organization that are functioning inefficiently, and work with global management to select target processes for improvement

  • Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years experience of IT work experience

  • Minimum of 3 years experience leading a combination of business and technology process management and process improvement projects

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced proficiency in MS Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio

  • Bachelor’s degree in Management of Information Systems (MIS) or Computer Science or Engineering or Business

Professional Skills:

  • Ability to identify problems, take measurements, analyze data, determine root cause and offer improvement opportunities

  • Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with personnel in all functional areas and geographies across the enterprise

  • Ability to maintain a positive perspective in stressful situations while encouraging team participation

  • Organizational skills, goal-orientation and assertiveness skills

  • Ability to effectively assimilate and analyze information from large amounts of data

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills

  • Ability to impartially view processes from the user’s perspective and tactfully question the status quo

  • Ability to effectively sell the results of Process Improvement, through reports, presentations, and other means, to all levels of management

  • Strong, broad knowledge of technology

  • Experience working with cross-functional, cross-cultural and virtual teams

  • Ability to resolve conflict through use of negotiation and influencing skills

  • Ability to lead, inspire and improve teams to reach the organization’s goals
